AIME Honored with the “Top 50 Organisations in Education” Award at GFEL, Dubai 2019
Dubai; December 16–18, 2019– AIME was conferred with the “Top 50 Organisations in Education’’ award for its significant contributions towards the field of education at GFEL, held at Dubai on December 16–18, 2019.
AIME uses ‘imagination curriculum’ to unfold kids’ minds, delivered through a structured mentoring model, which is proven to end educational imbalances. It has helped solve one of Australia’s most complex social challenges — Indigenous Disadvantage — and designed a transferrable solution that functions across cultures/ borders cost-effectively (cost-benefit ratio of 8.9x). With 6+ years of independent research, it has been effective in transforming the lives of mentees, mentors, school, university campuses and the wider ecosystem it operates in. In over 15 years, it has seen over 25,000+ marginalised youth march on towards equality, bridging a 35% gap in education, successfully supported by 10,000+ university students, turning it into the largest educational movement in Australia’s history.
Parul Punjabi Jagdish, Global Head of Partnerships, Research & Impact at AIME, said, “Over the past 15 years, we’ve built an ‘imagination curriculum’ that helps those kids who are outside the margin of the mainstream, find not only a way back in, but also a springboard from which to lead change for others like themselves and in effect help make the world a fairer place for us all.”
