Dr. Christine Janssen Recognized With The “Excellence In Education” Award At GFEL Las Vegas, 2020–21

Las Vegas, Nevada — June 28, 2021 — Dr. Christine Janssen was honored with the “Excellence In Education” award for her exceptional contributions to the education industry at The second edition of the Global Forum for Education and Learning (GFEL), held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA on June 23–25, 2021.

Dr. Janssen is the visionary behind Edstutia, a 21st century learning platform at the intersection of business and technology. Her goal is to disrupt the status quo of higher education, making it more relevant, affordable, and accessible.

She is a Professor at the Gabelli School of Business of Fordham University and is also the Director of Entrepreneurship as well as the Program Director for the online MS-Mgmt program. Under her leadership, Fordham University’s undergraduate Entrepreneurship program is ranked #15 in the US according to U.S. News & World Report in 2020, and the online MS-Mgmt program is ranked #9 in the US according to College Consensus (2021).

Her trailblazing endeavors and her noble dedication to driving change in the realm of education led to her nomination and ultimately, to her selection for the prestigious honor.

This is my first time at GFEL, I met wonderful people, great minds who are trying to push education, talk about how to change the education community and lead the change, which is amazing.”
