Las Vegas, Nevada — June 28, 2021 — Mrs. LaShon Winstead, Founder & President of L & M Mobile Learning, LLC and Girls Who Build STEAM, INC., was honored with the “Top 100 Visionaries in Education” award for her exceptional contributions to the education sector at the second edition of The Global Forum for Education and Learning (GFEL), held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA on June 23–25, 2021.

Mrs. Winstead’s primary goal is to introduce interactive and comprehensive STEM and STEAM programs in schools and communities that are looking to prepare their students for the 21st-century world and for the workplaces of tomorrow. Her love for science and desire to see more women in STEM fields led her to establish, Girls Who Build STEM, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides girls with opportunities and hands-on experiences in order to encourage them to pursue STEM careers.

On any given day, when she is not managing her business or riding her bike, she is teaching someone about the Bible. Her trailblazing endeavors and her noble dedication to driving change in the realm of education led to her nomination and ultimately, to her selection for the prestigious honor.

GFEL, a brand owned by Prism Events, Inc. is a three-day international education conference that promotes networking, knowledge sharing and recognizes the industry-leading work of visionary individuals and organizations. After the successful conclusion of its second edition, we seek to empower education experts by building and expanding our presence in the Asia-Pacific and MENA regions.
