Ms. Julie Allen Recognized With The “Excellence In Education” Award At GFEL Las Vegas, 2020–21

Las Vegas, Nevada — June 28, 2021 — Ms. Julie Allen was honored with the “Excellence in Education” award for her exceptional contributions to the education industry at the second edition of The Global Forum for Education and Learning (GFEL), held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA on June 23–25, 2021.

Ms. Allen is the Founder and CEO of Lead Up, a soon-to-be-published author, and a consultant to educational institutions and agencies working across the globe. She has spent many years as a leader in the education space — entering rather untraditionally from her first career as a pianist. She holds degrees from Nebraska Wesleyan University and the University of Denver.

Julie Allen is not a celebrity or a household name — except to the hundreds of students, educators, and communities who have reached their potential because of the agencies she built, the program models she developed, and her unwavering passion for helping others succeed.

When asked about her company’s initiatives, she said, “We work with younger people, who are traditionally underrepresented across the vocational landscapes and we help them find their way toward their best self and contribute as amazing members of our community.”

Her trailblazing endeavors and her noble dedication to driving change in the realm of education led to her nomination and ultimately, to her selection for the prestigious honor.
